From the Desk of the Worthy Grand Matron:

Christmas has come and gone.  I hope each of you had a wonderful one and made some great memories.  May the spirit of Christmas and its meaning continue throughout the year to come.

The “Joyful Symphony” Session of Arkansas Grand Chapter was delightful. It really put everyone in a seasonal mood with the decorated Christmas trees and symbols.  A big thanks to all of the Louisiana members who attended.  It was my honor to bring the response from the distinguished guest.

Grand Chapter will be here before we know it.   Therefore, now is the time to begin compiling reports and completing plans.

Reminders!!!

Words to the Wise:  To give real service you must add something, which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity.

                                                                                            Mary Howell

APPRECIATION

We wish to express our sincere appreciation for the love each of you have shown for Charles during his brave battle with his illness, with your many cards, phone calls, flowers and attendance at his wake and funeral.  The beautiful service by his Masonic brothers and the Eastern Star service by loved ones and his chapter members were memorable.  Charles loved his Masonic and Eastern Star principles as was evident in the many programs he did for both orders.  He was very supportive of the Order of Demolay for Boys and the Order of Rainbow for Girls.  He will be missed by his loved ones and friends.  “Well done my true and faithful brother”.    His wife Alna, son Charles Jr., daughter Dianne A Gill and his grandchildren.

On behalf of the family of John F. McCray, PP, we would like to thank you all for your calls of condolences, cards, and prayers during the passing of our loved one.  They were all greatly appreciated and helped so much.  Please continue to remember myself and my family in your prayers.    Kay McCray, PM, J. T. Charnley #197

REMINDER:  Resolutions: If you are planning to submit a resolution at this Session, please note Article One, Section 7(a) . . . “The resolutions shall be in the office of the Grand Secretary at least sixty (60) days before the date of the Annual Grand Chapter Session”.   This does not change the requirement that all resolutions must be approved for circulation by the Committee on Law & Jurisprudence.  Proposed resolutions should still be sent to the Chairman of this Committee.  Please allow a couple of weeks for this process.
