From the Desk of the Worthy Grand Matron:

Dear Sisters and Brothers,

M is for May and for Mothers.  Do not forget Mother's Day is May 8.

April was an exciting month and a very busy month, especially for the District Deputy Grand Matrons.  I have received good remarks and understand the Deputies are really enjoying their visits.  Thank you for the support you have given the District Deputies.

May comes and it is time for our Schools of Instructions by our Grand Supervisors.  Please continue to support our Supervisors.  Then it will be most enjoyable to see all of you at the first Official Visit of our Worthy Grand Patron, June 4th, in Gueydan.

Thank you, District #14, for the beautiful Homecoming of our Worthy Grand Patron.  It was superb and everyone enjoyed visiting with our Sisters and Brothers and family members of our Worthy Grand Patron.

What a GREAT time we had at Mississippi Grand Chapter.  We had a total of thirty-nine members present and this included fourteen Grand Officers!  There was illness in our Grand Family, but I understand one told the doctor she was not going to the hospital until she got back from Mississippi.  Thank you for your continued support of our Grand Chapter.

What can I say other than thank you, thank you, District #11, for a beautiful reception.  Sister Betty Gosewehr and all of District 11 did a marvelous job.  Again, thank you for everything.

ANNOUNCEMENT……..Get your passports and join Sister Joy Beth and Brother Oscar on a TRIP TO THE HOLY LAND  Contact Brother Oscar for more information and details if interested in the trip scheduled December, 2011.  If you are not aware, after the down payment, the balance can be paid monthly.  If anyone is interested in getting college hours, this also can be done.  This is an open trip - your family members, Sunday School members, and pastors are all invited to share this amazing trip with us.

"In all the ways acknowledge Him and He will direct thy paths."

                                                                            Fraternally with OES love,

                                                                            Joy B. Williams
